I’m thinking about going the new-build route and choosing KB Homes. Does anyone have any experience with them, good or bad? I’d love to hear about the quality of their construction, the buying process, and any after-sales service experiences. Any feedback or insights would be greatly appreciated.
My experience with KB Home has been outstanding. From my initial inquiry to receiving the keys, the entire process was smooth and enjoyable. Every new build is partially garbage. They are all taking them out as fast and inexpensively as they can. My brother recently purchased a brand-new home, and over the past four weeks, he has been rewiring and correcting all the poor workmanship. Nothing was accurate at all. Incorrect breakers, incorrect cables, missing GFCIs, short circuits, grounds connected to the common, damaged wires, etc. Just have that ready for ANY builder. They all have very minimal quality control and only use subs.
