I’m considering Lemonade Insurance for my coverage needs and would appreciate hearing from anyone who has used their services. How satisfied are you with Lemonade Insurance? Are their rates competitive? How’s their customer service and claims process? Any pros and cons you’ve experienced would be invaluable as I weigh my options.
I lost $2000 worth of items in a break-in. I opened the Lemonade app, filmed a video, responded to several questions, and uploaded receipts after submitting the police report. The following business day, I received the monies after my claim was promptly granted.
Let me just say that I think Lemonade is great. However, I’m a little concerned that after I relocate, my rate may increase. Well, we’ll see.
We’ve been with Lemonade for a couple of years… The relationship began very well… they were responsive and timely as advertised… Beginning in later 2023 some change in management and protocols went tohell in a handbasket, Problems include arguing and changing policy elements, taking advantage of a total lack of support with pleasant assumptions of our fault for this or that, lagging in one case for six months… Not meeting agreed payment due dates, continued ‘foot dragging’ on claims returns, absolute dismissal and avoidance of any attempts to resolve issues out of the customer’s control have made the experience painful and costly… For example, the due dates for the two pet policies were agreed upon… of the last 11 payments taken they have met the due date ONCE… some as early as 10+ days, some as late as 13+ days…this throws our Socal SEcurity income dates into disarray and often OD bank charges… Continued attempts to talk to anyone other than the original ‘agent’ on the phone get thetsame spiel even in email responses, "we got your messge, we’ll get bak toyoualways with the same intransigence of taking your numbere and having them call which doesn’ thappen.
I don’t know what happened, but it was a distinguishable departure from what we signed up for… andare now enduring in that pet insurance is only attainable in the first six months, of a confusing preventivea care package …after than we’re left unaware of any alternative options and NO participative rsponse from the Lemonade.
We would NOT recommend this company as a reliable source of responsive customer service and it’s more a management model of abstinence from effective best practices not reliabnt on the distancing of customer service AI alone…
Overall assessment - D- in productive service, F in management model design, F in phone call asistance, A in what is sold as a uniwues service in its. origin, falling to D-toF in its current itereation of viable access.
