Painting Rooms Before Selling Home - Popular Colors, or Neutral White/Gray/Beige?

Hi Everyone - Looking for some advice as we prepare to sell our home. We painted all rooms with colors we liked, but now we need to repaint. Should we stick with colors or go for all neutral colors? If we go neutral, what are some good suggestions?

If you have to repaint anyway, I’d go with neutral. I wouldn’t paint it if you don’t need to.

I suggest covering the deep red. Buyers generally prefer neutral colors, and bold colors can turn them off.

My go-to white is Behr’s Bit Of Sugar; it looks clean without yellow undertones.

Lean towards neutral colors like light grays, soft tans, or off-whites. For neutrals, check out Benjamin Moore’s Revere Pewter.

Neutral colors sell faster. I sold my house in 5 days; my neighbor’s colored rooms took 2 months.

Consider replacing the backsplash if it’s that bad. It could really improve the kitchen’s appeal.
