We’re redoing some space near the garage, planning for a drop zone and a small pantry. But after knocking down a couple of walls, we realized the pantry will be much smaller than we expected.
Now we’re considering whether to enclose the whole space and make a larger pantry with just a small area for hanging coats. The downside is we’d have to walk through the pantry when coming and going from the garage. We don’t park the car in the garage right now though, so it’s not a huge issue at the moment.
What I’m wondering is, for resale value, what’s better— a bigger pantry or a small pantry with a drop zone?
