Paperwork Help!

Me and my mom are going to sell our house FSBO!

We are very prepared, however, I’m struggling to aquire the paperwork. What are all of the papers required by law? And where can I get them? Free or otherwise!

I’m in the state of California. Central California.

I want to make sure I have every piece of paper in front of me ready to go when I get a potential buyer! I keep seeing a few here and there but I need a full list! No room for guess work!

Thank you all so much in advance! Any tips or tricks you have are greatly appreciated!

This is exactly why you need an agent or an attorney to help you through the process.

We are very prepared but also have no idea what paperwork to use for the largest financial transaction of our lives. Hire some type of professional.

You’re going to need an attorney at some point . go ahead and contact now. They’ll have everything you need.

Have a real estate attorney help you if you’re not gonna use an agent.

You will want to hire a lawyer, especially if you have to take to the interenet to ask this question.

Bought all my houses using a realtor (seller paid 100% of commissions then). sold all my houses FSBO using a two-page Agreement to Purchase Real Estate page I made up. In it was inspection timings, closing costs (always split according to local customs), Earnest money.

The title company is the one to do the heavy lifting.
