It is quite well established that during the pandemic, Phoenix and other now-extremely-warm areas experienced significant growth, particularly from autumn through early spring, when such locations enjoyed comparatively pleasant weather. Since I know I could never live there, I was just wondering if you had any regrets or if it didn’t affect your life in any way. Was it vital to you to spend a lot of time outside during the day, or was it simply the early hours of the morning? Has anyone found this hot streak to be so annoying that they want to sell up and relocate?
Living in Phoenix has been a wonderful experience. The area is beautiful, the people are fantastic, and I don’t regret the move at all. In fact, my goal is to stay here for the rest of my life. We’ll see where life takes my family and me, but I’m very thankful to be here.
I moved to Phoenix during the pandemic, attracted by the pleasant weather in the fall and spring. Honestly, I did have some doubts about the scorching summers. But I’ve found ways to adapt. I spend most of my outdoor time in the early mornings or late evenings when it’s cooler. Personally, the heat hasn’t made me want to sell and move away. I actually enjoy the lifestyle here and the community is great. I can guarantee that with some adjustments, living here can be very enjoyable.
As a realtor, most of my clients who have moved from Phoenix complain of the high heat that averages almost 100 in the summers. Most that have moved out of phoenix wouldn’t return due to the desert like weather
the other day I was talking with an old classmate from PHX, she was asking about moving far east perhaps to Florida as she accosted with the weather (we schooled near Tampa).
Now she was bemoaning the fact that she could not do hot girl summer things since its literally a heat wave in June, and the fact that she’s so far from the beach.
