What color ceiling to go with the white walls... any suggestions?

I’m prepping my old starter home for sale and want it to be move-in ready for the next family. Currently, I’m looking at doing the walls in Swiss Coffee eggshell and the trim in Dove White semi-gloss. I’m getting samples tomorrow to confirm. But I’m also doing the ceilings, and I’m not sure if I should do the ceiling in a dove white color or just buy the ceiling paint as is and go with it. It’s a lot of whites, and I’m not sure what would look best. The floors are a soft wood look that leans warm.

I’d go with a matte or flat white for the ceiling.

The easiest way is to pick one color in different finishes. While many people don’t like all white, it does give the buyer a more ‘new home’ vibe. But creams and taupes will definitely work too.

This is the way.

I think you should go with flat for the ceiling. It’s a classic choice and keeps everything looking uniform.

Have you thought about how the lighting will affect the colors? Natural light can make whites look different.
