Can anyone help me make sense of this Closing Disclosure? My calculation for Cash to Close is $595, but on the Closing Disclosure, it’s $14,147. Which one is correct? Also, my estimated total monthly payment is $1,050. Is the estimated monthly taxes, insurance, and assessment part of that, or will I be paying an additional $356 on top of $1,050?

Do you have a closing cost credit from the seller or the lender? Typically, it costs about $15,000 or so to close, including down payment, insurance, and escrow costs. They will subtract your earnest money from this total to show how much you actually need to bring to closing.
