Selling my home

Hello everyone, This is my first time selling a home so I’m not sure what to expect. I do see other agents posting on social media about the homes they have for sale but I don’t see any social media presence from my realtor. Should I be concerned?

No.

Social media is a great way of getting clients, it’s not a good way of selling houses. And a lot of realtors are actually busy selling houses ignore it.

No concern. Social media posts are mostly for exposure and reminding the following that we are real estate agents. Ever notice all the sold posts people make? What’s that gonna help with making the sale if it’s already sold? It’s just marketing exposure.

This is the current trend, Many agents/brokers have social media posts of listings and sales that can be under the office/broker accounts

Social media exposes your property to potential buyers so it’s good exposure. YouTube does the same by exposing your property to more potential buyers. I use both, but neither guarantee a sale. A good agent will do more than put a sign in the front yard, place your property in the MLS, and pray for a buyer. Massive exposure is the name of the game but pricing and condition will dictate value and days in market. Hope this helps

Ask them. Homes don’t sell on facebook - realtors post that to remind everyone that they are realtors.

My realtor has been making weekly posts on social media, but we haven’t sold yet coming up on 6 weeks.

The market is slowing down in are area as school started, and with the government saying stuff about interest rates making things slow.

Our realtor is selling 2 of her own personal homes on top of ours (all different price tags in different regions of the state; 100+ miles apart from the closest house). The other 2 homes have had less traffic than our home we are selling
