Outside of any information 2-3% each is the typical amount with plenty of discount brokerages or agents willing to go lower,

Thanks. I just didn’t want them to get screwed over. They are thinking 2-3% for seller’s agent and 2% for buyer’s agent.

it depends on your market. Google “Redfin buyer agent commission study” and see what are is closest to yours (if not named). It’s reasonable to assume that the listing agent comepnsation is equal or a little above the Buyer Agent.

But even with this study, it will require knowing price range and time to sell.

Generally 2-3%. The local market will dictate. The most influential impact on where it lies in that range is the amount of licensees per capita in the market. Higher number of licensees leads to rates closer to 2%. Lower number of licensees tends towards 3%. Supply and demand.

It depends on the market. Higher priced markets tend to have lower commissions. 5% total is pretty common these days even though that’s way too high IMO. Realtors need to be flat fee based… no exceptions.
